To assign theme menu navigate to Appearance -> Menus. Once you have created a menu, assign it to Primary and save it and the menu will be shown in the header.
Header layout #
There are different Header layout available in the theme. To configure Default theme Header, Go to Appearance/Customizer/Theme Options and Header Sections. There you will find options to select different Header layout
